Cherry pie is a firm favourite in our house. Growing up l used to love making the lattice top of the pie with my Nana, there seemed to be an art to weaving the pastry to make the lattice. My sons did not have any interest in making the pie with me but had their spoons ready to devour it when it came out of the oven.
