Chocolate and Salted Caramel Pretzel bark.

Are you like me and still have festive goodies in your kitchen cupboard? I am surprised and shocked to share that we still have some sweet treats like biscuits, nuts, pretzels, sweets and choccies in stock and therefore l am creating recipes to use up these treats to make space but also to support my healthy eating once all the goodies have gone.

This recipe is very simple to make and only three ingredients are required melted chocolate, a salted caramel sauce and lots of pretzels.

This chocolate and salted caramel pretzel bark recipe is easy to follow and can be made in no time at all.

Chocolate and Salted Caramel Pretzel bark


Prep time: 10 Minutes  Cook time: 30 minutes Makes: 1 Pretzel bark


Ingredients


2 x 100g of Milk chocolate bars

100g of Salted pretzels

80ml of Caramel sauce

1tsp of Sea salt flakes


Equipment


Baking tray

Greaseproof paper

Spoon


Method


  1. On the baking tray lay the greaseproof paper.

  2. Preheat the oven to warm, ready to melt the chocolate.

  3. Lay the 2 chocolate bars on the greaseproof paper and place in the oven for 3 minutes to melt. Ensure you keep an eye that the chocolate does not burn.

  4. When the chocolate appears melted take out of the oven and use the spoon to spread out the chocolate thinly on the greaseproof paper.

  5. Begin to place the pretzels on top of the chocolate in rows, pressing them down slightly.

  6. When you have finished placing the pretzels, pour over the salted caramel and use the spoon to ensure every pretzel is covered.

  7. Place the pretzels in the fridge to harden.

  8. When ready to serve cut into squares or smash and serve.

  9. Enjoy!.
