Chocolate and White Choc Chip Cookies

These soft and chewy chocolate and white choc chip cookies are a must when you are in need a sweet fix.
The boys and l were in the kitchen early this morning to make these cookies before heading to the park on our bikes to enjoy for snack time.
These chocolate and white choc chip cookies are easy to make and you can make them as chocolatly as you like.
The mix of the cocoa and white chocolate chips add to the sweetness of these cookies.

Prep time: 15 Minutes Cook time: 10 Minutes Makes: 15 Cookies
Ingredients
250g of Granulated sugar
240g of Plain flour - sieved
200g of White chocolate chips
170g of Butter- room temperature
60g of Cocoa - sieved
50g of Golden caster sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp of Vanilla extract
1 tsp of Baking powder
1/2 tsp of Sea salt
Equipment
Electric Whisk
2 Mixing bowls
Spatula
2 baking trays
Greaseproof paper
Small ice cream scoop
Cooling rack
Method
Preheat the oven to 160C.
Line the baking trays with the greaseproof paper and leave to the side for later.
In one of the mixing bowls, place the butter and the sugars and cream them together with the electric whisk.
Continue to whisk the mixture on a low setting and add the vanilla extract and the eggs one at a time.
In the other mixing bowl add the flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and use the spatula to roughly mix the ingredients together.
Add the flour mixture to the butter and sugar and whisk together on a low setting until the ingredients are just combined. Pour in the chocolate chips and mix together roughly with the spatula.
Using the ice cream scoop begin to make cookie balls and lay them out the baking trays.
Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
Once the cookies are baked, they will be soft to the touch, leave to cool for 10 minutes on the baking trays before moving to the cooling rack.
Serve warm or completely cooled ( extra yummy when eaten warm).
