WOOOOOO it's Halloween week! What will you be dressing up as this week? I have a scary Skeleton, a ghost and pug is going to be a spider.
Have you ever made a halloween bark? You may have seen my Easter bark.
So simple to make and a great way to use up goodies from your swag bag if you are going trick or treating. Melt the chocolate, sprinkle, chuck throw on the candies and leave to harden. That simple! See the recipe and step by step guide below.
Stay safe, if you are going trick or treating on Halloween Eve.

Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 1 hour to harden Makes: I large bark
Ingredients
3 100g Milk chocolate bars - broken up
Candy of your choosing
Equipment
30 x 30cm of Greaseproof paper
Saucepan with 200ml boiling water
Mixing bowl
Spatula
Method
Lay the pre-cut greaseproof paper onto the work surface ready for the melted chocolate
In the mixing bowl place the broken chocolate.
Put the mixing bowl over the saucepan with the boiling water. TIP do not allow the chocolate to be touching the water. It should be a bain-marie.
As the chocolate is melting stir with the wooden spoon.
Once melted pour the chocolate over the greaseproof paper to the size you want to make your bark. Use the spatula to spread it out. You will need it to be at least 2 cm thick. Beware the chocolate will still be hot.
As the chocolate is cooling begin to sprinkle, drop, throw your chosen candies onto the top how you wish.
Leave to harden in the fridge or on the work surface for up to 1 hour.
Break and serve.
Enjoy!.
