Lets go mad for macarons

Yes please! l love macarons and l do secretly have a place that l do love to get them from.... but a train ride to London or flight to Paris to get them is out of reach when l have a craving for these delicate but delicious little goodies.

With the array of flavours and colours that macarons can be made, I feel they are the perfect treat to be enjoyed this spring time.

Do you have a favourite flavour? There are many flavours of macarons that you can enjoy. Chocolate, vanilla, lemon , mine is raspberry and pistachio. What about yours?

Today is National Macaron Day. Celebration of this Parisian meringue cookie baked with jam, buttercream or ganache in the middle. I personally like jam.

1791 was when the first macaron was made. Macarons are known to be tricky to make but following a good recipe will help.
