National Croissant Day - Tuesday 30th January.

Today we celebrate the humble croissant.

When you hear the word croissant do you think breakfast? Or maybe a tasty treat served with your hot beverage of choice?

There are so many flavours that a croissant can be filled with, which leads to my question are you a savoury or sweet filling?

Me personally l am both. If l was to choose sweet it would almond croissant all the way or chocolate. Yet if I had to choose savoury then it would have to be a ham and cheese croissant (that would be fake bacon being pescatarian).

So l bet you can not guess what l am going to be serving for lunch today in my house in celebration..
