Do you call an Oreo a cookie or a biscuit? either way, they make the perfect addition to milkshakes, cookies, cheesecakes... the list is endless.
We have been busy in the kitchen with an Oreo stash l found in the back of the cupboard to make these delicious Oreo skillet cookies. This Oreo skillet cookie recipe is easy to follow, following a normal cookie recipe except we are changing the way they are baked.
You can make the cookies in a large skillet or individual ones as we did.
Serve with ice cream whilst still warm for gooey texture.
Enjoy!.

Prep time: 10 Minutes Cook time: 30 minutes Makes: 5 Skillet Cookies
Ingredients
250g of Plain flour- sieved
175g of Butter
100g of Chocolate chips
100g Oreo biscuits - crumbled
50g of Light brown sugar
50g of Granulated sugar
2 eggs - beaten
2 tsp of Vanilla extract
1tsp of Sea salt
1tsp of Baking powder
Equipment
Skillets
Wooden spoon
Spatula
Fork
Mixing bowl
Whisk
Method
Preheat the oven to 160C.
Grease each of the skillets with butter ready for the cookie dough.
In the mixing bowl place the butter and sugars and using the whisk, cream the ingredients together.
Add the flour, salt and baking powder to the mixing bowl and whisk again until all the ingredients are combined.
Pour the vanilla extract into the beaten eggs and give a quick whisk with a fork before adding to the mixing bowl.
Ensure all the ingredients are combined before adding the chocolate chips and Oreo biscuits. Use the spatula to mix together.
Take a small dough ball and spread the dough out evenly in the skillet. The cookie will rise slightly and therefore you do not want to over fill the skillet.
Top with some remaining Oreos and place in the oven to bake for 10 minutes until crisp around the edges.
Once baked take the cookies from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving warmed with ice cream or chosen topping.
Enjoy!
