How to Make Irresistible Homemade Popcorn Bites

Today is National popcorn Lovers day!. Popcorn is firm favourite in our house and l wanted to share a cheeky popcorn and chocolate recipe with you, that we make a lot at home. Popcorn bites are tasty little treats to have just to enjoy or while watching a movie. This recipe only needs 3 ingredients and is very easy to follow and a naughty little treat.
The recipe is inspired by Marks and Spencers Christmas popcorn wreath they made the other year and has been a firm favourite of ours to make ever since.

Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 20 minutes chilling in fridge Makes: 9 bites
Ingredients
300g of Milk chocolate - melted
250g of Sweet and Salted popcorn
2 tbsp of Golden syrup
Sprinkles
Equipment
Mixing bowl
Greaseproof paper
9 x 9 inch baking tin
Spatula
Spoon
Method
Prepare the baking tin by lining it with the greaseproof paper.
Pour the melted chocolate into the baking tin and spread it out so the base is covered evenly. Save some chocolate for the drizzle later on.
In the mixing bowl place the popcorn and golden syrup. Mix them together with the spoon until the popcorn is coated in the syrup.
Spoon the popcorn on top of the chocolate, covering it equally. Push the popcorn down to help it set.
Using the saved chocolate drizzle it over the popcorn and add the sprinkles.
Place in the fridge until the chocolate has set.
Once set, cut into squares and serve.
Store in an airtight container.
