Over the half term holidays we have been busy with friends and family, catching up, taking part in Halloween fun and now on the last day of the holidays we have been busy making some sweet treats ready for bonfire night. My eldest has been learning about Guy Fawkes at school so has a real interest in the history of fireworks nights.
We have been busy in the kitchen preparing the treats for everyone to enjoy, cosying up by the fire pit and watching a small selection of fireworks on the night. We have large marshmallows and chocolate biscuits ready for our s'mores, hot choolates ready and the Baileys ready for the adults hot chocolate. The children also have these delightful and very easy to make s'mores pots... All the same ingredients as s'mores just with the chocolate all ready and melted. This recipe is so easy to follow and can be made before , remember the chocolate will be hardened or made on the night for a more gooey taste sensation.
Have a go at making yourself and let us know what you think...
Enjoy!.

Prep time: 10 Minutes Cook time: N/A Makes: 6 S’mores pot
Ingredients
300g of Milk chocolate - melted
200ml of Double cream
10 Chocolate digestive biscuits - crumbled
6 Large marshmallows
2 Egg yolks
Equipment
6 small pots for the s’mores
Spatula
Kitchen blow torch
Mixing bowl
Tray
Tablespoon
Whisk
Method
On the tray lay out the pots you are using for your s’mores pots.
In each pot place two tablespoons of the crumbled biscuits, spread the biscuits out evenly for the base.
In the mixing bowl place the cooled melted chocolate and add the double cream, using the whisk, whisk together until the ingredients are combined. Add the egg yolks and whisk together again.
Using the tablespoon, place 2 tablespoons of the melted chocolate into each of the pots to cover the biscuit base.
Place the pots in the fridge for the chocolate to set.
Once the chocolate has set place a marshmallow on top of each of the chocolate pots and using the blow torch begin to melt parts of each of the marshmallows to make them gooey and sticky.
Serve while the marshmallows are still warm.
Enjoy!.
