Over the half term holidays we have been busy with friends and family, catching up, taking part in Halloween fun and now on the last day of the holidays we have been busy making some sweet treats ready for bonfire night. My eldest has been learning about Guy Fawkes at school so has a real interest in the history of fireworks nights.

We have been busy in the kitchen preparing the treats for everyone to enjoy, cosying up by the fire pit and watching a small selection of fireworks on the night. We have large marshmallows and chocolate biscuits ready for our s'mores, hot choolates ready and the Baileys ready for the adults hot chocolate. The children also have these delightful and very easy to make s'mores pots... All the same ingredients as s'mores just with the chocolate all ready and melted. This recipe is so easy to follow and can be made before , remember the chocolate will be hardened or made on the night for a more gooey taste sensation.

Have a go at making yourself and let us know what you think...

Enjoy!.
