We have started our week with making sweet treats. I never knew how simple it was to make fudge and now l know, there will be no stopping us with making other flavours. So for our first attempt, we have made white chocolate and caramel fudge.
This recipe is simple to follow and within 3 hours you can have some tasty white chocolate and caramel fudge for an afternoon treat that will melt in your mouth. The recipe involves some melting of the ingredients and time to chill.
For the topping you can choose between milk or dark chocolate. To finish off we added some salted caramel decorations to add to the flavour. The beauty of this recipe is with the caramel you can either make your own or use from the shop depending on the time available to you.
See the recipe and have a go at making at home.

Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 2 hours in fridge Makes: 16 pieces
Ingredients
450g of White chocolate - melted
400g of Caramel ( homemade or shop brought)
100g of Milk chocolate
1/2 tsp of Sea salt
10g of Salted caramel sprinkles for decoration
Equipment
9x9inch square baking tin
Greaseproof paper
Mixing bowl
Whisk
Spatula
Method
In the mixing bowl place the melted white chocolate and add the caramel sauce of your choosing. (On the blog you can grab the recipe for homemade caramel sauce). Gently whisk together until the ingredients are combined. Add the salt and stir again.
Line the greaseproof paper in the baking tin.
Pour the caramel and white chocolate mixture into the baking tin and spread it so it is even in the tin.
Put the baking tin in the fridge for 2 hours or until the fudge has gone hard.
Begin to melt milk the chocolate using your chosen method (microwave or Bain Marie) mixing occasionally.
When the chocolate has melted, using the spatula pour over the hardened fudge and ensure covered evenly.
Using the caramel sprinkles, sprinkle over the chocolate and place in the fridge to hardened.
Cut into squares (size is your choice) when ready to serve.
Store in air tight container.
Enjoy!
